Start Now

After a long break for no reason, I finally opened jetpack and finished a previous post. I do that a lot. I suppose it’s my style.

I’m fifty years old. In that time I feel I have mastered the art of procrastination. Or, rather, I would have. I was just so busy.

There are so many ways to put things off! It’s amazing anything ever gets done. My favorites techniques lately have been chore-crastination: I would do this important yet unpleasant thing, but i have all these mundane tasks to do… first. And run-crastination: i will get to this super duper thing… right after this run. Oops! Too tired now. But the all time ultimate method has to be beer-crastination. That’s when i start too do something and I’ll have a few beers while I’m working on it. And before I know it, I’m so hammered the whole ordeal is an exercise in futility. Not even good practice for when i Try it again, For Real this time. It’s fun though. Just, stay away from heavy machinery. And fire.
